Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing testable and scalable code.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data communication systems and protocols.
- Develop and maintain networking features (Layer 2/Layer 3) such as routing and switching.
- Work on protocols like BGP, OSPF, MPLS, TCP/IP, and SDN concepts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and data communication issues.
- Optimize network performance and ensure reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration and testing.
- Document system design, development, and maintenance procedures.
Mandatory Skills
- C programming (strong proficiency)
- Data Structures (in-depth knowledge)
- Networking protocols (L2/L3: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLAN, IPv4/IPv6)
- Linux/Unix systems and OS concepts (IPC, multithreading, sockets)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
- Development experience with programming languages C programming (Mandatory)
- L2/L3 Protocol Development
