Role: Databricks Architect

Experience: 10+ years

Location: PAN INDIA

Skills and Experience Required:

10+ years of overall experience in architecting and building data and analytics solutions, including at least one Databricks implementation
Proven experience in Apache Spark and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
Strong background in designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes, data lakes, and data warehouses Hands-on experience with Spark SQL, Delta Lake, Lakeflow Spark Declarative Pipelines and Unity Catalog
Strong knowledge and experience on building D&A solutions with Medallion architecture
Experienced in analysis, design and data modelling
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, ARM templates)
Working knowledge of Unity Catalog
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Experienced in working in a customer-facing role
Databricks certifications are preferred

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable data lakehouse architectures on Databricks
Lead the migration and modernization of legacy data systems to Databricks
Optimize data workflows for performance, cost, and scalability in cloud environments
Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and compliance within the Databricks ecosystem
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and analysts
Develop and maintain documentation for architecture, processes, and best practices
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve data architecture strategies
