Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Database Marketing Lead is responsible for planning and executing digital offers & communication to members. This includes app notifications, newsletters, Member comms, service updates, promotional offers, and membership renewal reminders, through multiple digital channels. The role focuses on ensuring that members & guests receive relevant communication based on their membership level and engagement with the brand.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Campaign Management

  • Plan and execute digital campaigns for member communications including:

o Service updates

o Member newsletters

o Promotions and offers

o Renewal reminders and payment communications

Member Communication

  • Ensure all emails (and communications) are clear, accurate, and aligned with the member experience.
  • Ensure communications reflect the correct membership tier and benefits.

Campaign Execution

  • Coordinate campaign schedules with the marketing team.
  • Prepare email content, upload lists, and manage the sending process through the Email
  • Service Provider (ESP).

Automation

  • Manage automated email journeys such as:

o New member onboarding

o Birthday and anniversary messages

o Renewal reminders

o Re-engagement campaigns

o Last min offers Campaign Performance

  • Monitor campaign results including:

o Open rates

o Click-through rates

o Conversions

  • Identify ways to improve performance through testing subject lines, timing, and content.

Compliance & Best Practices

  • Ensure all campaigns comply with email marketing regulations and data privacy requirements.
  • Maintain unsubscribe and consent records.


REQUIREMENTS

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in Digital marketing or CRM marketing.
  • Fluent with AI best practices for Database Marketing is a must.
  • Hands-on experience with Email Service Providers such as Zoho Campaigns, Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, or similar platforms.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns.
  • Good written English and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of audience segmentation and CRM data.

  • Digital campaigns executed accurately and on schedule.
  • Member communications reflect the correct membership tier and benefits.
  • Engagement metrics such as open rates and click-through rates are monitored and best practices are implemented to improve delivery rates.
  • Automated email journeys function reliably without errors.
  • Digital communications comply with privacy regulations and unsubscribe requests.
