| Job Description | We are looking for a dedicated and experienced AWS Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in Amazon RDS and MySQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of cloud-hosted database systems. A working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database is advantageous and will be considered a plus | ||
| Key roles and responsibilities | ü Administer, configure, and monitor AWS RDS instances with a focus on MySQL. ü Handle database backups, restores, replication, and disaster recovery planning. ü Optimize database performance through tuning and monitoring. ü Implement and maintain database security best practices. ü Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues. ü Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven application development. ü Automate database tasks using AWS tools and scripts. ü Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations and procedures. | ||
| Skills & Experience | ü Proven hands-on experience managing AWS RDS environments. ü Strong working knowledge of MySQL database administration. ü Familiarity with replication, backup, and high availability configurations. ü Understanding of database security, compliance, and performance best practices. ü Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database is a plus. ü Experience with AWS services such as CloudWatch, IAM, and CloudFormation is preferred. ü Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and communication skills. ü Total experience of 6-7 yrs | ||
