Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled PostgreSQL Database Developer to design, develop,
optimize, and maintain our database systems. The candidate will work closely with software
engineers, data analysts, and DevOps teams to ensure database reliability, performance,
and scalability for our applications.
Required Skills
5+ years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL in a production environment.
Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and performance tuning.
Experience with PostgreSQL internals and explain plans.
Proficiency in writing PL/pgSQL functions, procedures, and triggers.
Exposure to data migration, including use of COPY, FDW, and data loaders.
Understanding of indexes, constraints, and transaction isolation levels.
Knowledge of other databases (Oracle, MySQL) and migration strategies.
