Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient database solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in relational databases, particularly Oracle and MS-SQL, with expertise in complex PL/SQL programming and database triggers. This role involves working closely with development teams to ensure optimal database performance, integrity, and security.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and triggers for Oracle and MS-SQL environments.
Write and optimize complex PL/SQL and T-SQL queries to ensure high performance and scalability.
Perform database performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
Develop and maintain database documentation, including data models, dictionaries, and design specifications.
Collaborate with application developers to integrate database solutions with various applications.
Ensure data integrity, security, and availability through best practices and established procedures.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Assist in database deployment and migration activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

3- 6 years of proven experience as a Database Developer with strong proficiency in Oracle and MS-SQL.
Expertise in writing and optimizing complex PL/SQL and T-SQL.
In-depth understanding of database triggers, stored procedures, functions, and views.
Solid knowledge of relational database concepts, data modeling, and schema design.
Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues efficiently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Good to Have

Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
Experience with shell scripting for automation and database administration tasks.
