Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Database Administrator to manage and maintain our SQL Server environment. As the "Gideon" of our data infrastructure, you will be responsible for ensuring the system is always fast, secure, and available. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in database health, performance tuning, and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Administration: Manage SQL Server databases through their entire lifecyclefrom installation to configuration and maintenance.
• Performance Tuning: Monitor system health and optimize complex queries to ensure maximum speed and efficiency.
• Security & Compliance: Manage user permissions and ensure data is protected against unauthorized access.
• Disaster Recovery: Establish and test robust backup and recovery plans (High Availability/AlwaysOn) to prevent data loss.
• Troubleshooting: Act as the primary point of contact for resolving database-related incidents and performance bottlenecks.

Technical Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Computer Science/IT/ECE).
• Experience: Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in Database Administration.
• Certification: Must have relevant certification such as MCSA: SQL Server or equivalent (e.g., Azure Database Associate).
• Tools: Strong proficiency in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), T-SQL, and performance monitoring tools.
