JD :

Responsible for managing databases, team handling and client management.

Will be working in 24*7. Will be working on remote support. At times he/she

needs to work as a backup resource at client location. Need to travel on shorter

notices to various clients for resolving issues as and when required. Should be

adaptive to learn new technologies.

Job Specific Skills:

1 Good knowledge of MYSQL architecture

2 Install and maintain the performance of database servers

3 Understanding MYSQL Backup & Recovery along with Open source Tools

4 Best practices on managing database access and user control

5 Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.

6 Recommend and implement emerging database technologies.

7 Must have good knowledge of MYSQL database up-gradation

8 Knowledge on MYSQL replication Master-Master, Single master multi-slave

and troubleshooting

9 Create automation for repeating database tasks.Be available for on-call support as needed.

10 Should have knowledge of Master slave replication

11 Replication , DR Drill ( Switch over , Switch back)

12 DB Upgradation

13 Knowledge of PostgreSQL/ Mongo

14 Good knowledge of Scripting (Shell, python etc)

15 Provide Training to the juniors

16 Must have knowledge of AWS RDS
