Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have 58 years of experience and be available for immediate onboarding.
Role Summary:
Own the database operations and performance management for Azure SQL, SQL Server, and Cosmos DB, ensuring system stability, security, and automation readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage provisioning, tuning, patching, and recovery for both relational and non-relational databases
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and Azure Automation
- Monitor database performance via Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
- Collaborate with Cloud and AI-Ops teams on predictive alerting and auto-remediation strategies
- Ensure PHI-compliant data governance across production environments
