Experience: 3 - 6 Yrs
Required skills
36 years of hands-on experience as a PostgreSQL DBA.
Solid understanding of PostgreSQL architecture, memory structures, WAL, tablespaces, and indexing.
Knowledge of backup/restore mechanisms and basic DR/HA (streaming replication, logical replication).
Experience with tools like pgAdmin, psql, and monitoring dashboards.
Basic Linux administration and scripting (Shell/Python).
Ability to analyze slow-running queries using EXPLAIN, logs, and performance views.
Basic knowledge of at least one RDBMS: Oracle / MS SQL / MySQL / MongoDB.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
