Project Role Description : Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Good to have skills : IBM Netezza, MongoDB, HPUX System Administration

Summary: As an IBM DB2 Database Administrator, you will be responsible for administering, developing, testing, and demonstrating databases. Your typical day will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, performing backup/recovery, and configuration management. Roles & Responsibilities: - Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. - Design, implement, and maintain new databases. - Perform backup/recovery and configuration management. - Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: IBM DB2 Database Administration. - Good To Have Skills: MongoDB, IBM Netezza, HPUX System Administration. - Experience in database management systems (DBMS) installation and maintenance. - Experience in backup/recovery and configuration management. - Experience in problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. - Strong understanding of database design and implementation. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in IBM DB2 Database Administration. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful database solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
