Project Role Description : Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.
Must have skills : MySQL Database Administration
Good to have skills : Oracle Database Administration (DBA)
Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
Educational Qualification : Any degree with full time education

Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. You will perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems (DBMS) and providing input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of databases. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Design, implement, and maintain new databases. - Perform backup and recovery operations for databases. - Manage database configuration and ensure data integrity. - Install and configure database management systems (DBMS). - Provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. - Collaborate with teams and clients to understand their database requirements and provide appropriate solutions. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in MySQL Database Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Database Administration (DBA). - Strong understanding of database management systems (DBMS) and their architecture. - Experience in performance tuning and optimization of databases. - Knowledge of database security best practices. - Familiarity with database backup and recovery procedures. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in MySQL Database Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - An Any degree with full-time education is required.
