Project Role Description : Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.
Must have skills : Oracle Database Administration (DBA)
Good to have skills : Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architecture

Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. You will perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems (DBMS) and providing input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. You will be based in Gurugram and should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA). A 15 years full time education is required for this role. Roles & Responsibilities:- Install, configure, tune and maintain Oracle database and additional responsibility for the Database Administrator will be to mentor junior members of the team. 1. Expected to perform independently and become an SME. 2. Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. 3. Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. 4. Design, implement, and maintain new databases. 5. Perform backup/recovery and configuration management. 6. Install database management systems (DBMS). 7. Provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. 8. Collaborate with teams or clients to understand their database requirements and provide appropriate solutions. Professional & Technical Skills:- Must to Have: 1. Experience with Oracle 10g/11g/12c/19c. 2. RAC Experience (Basic Level) 3. ASM (Basic Level) 4. Data-guard 5. R-man backup and refresh 6. Data-pump - Backup and Refresh 7. Patching - Standalone 8. Unix/Window Experience 9. Oracle SR Management Good to Have: 1. RAC Experience 2. Setting up RAC environment 3. ASM 4. Database Creation/Binary Installation (standalone, RAC) and RAC administration 5. Patching/Upgrading 6. Migration/Refresh Experience (Multiple method: R-man and Data-pump) 7. Multiple customer Environment Management 8. Performance Experience/Troubleshooting 9. Troubleshooting/ Oracle SR Management 10. RDS Instance Administration Basic 1. Open for shifts and 24*7 Support 2. Open to work in night shifts. 3. Adaptable / Flexible 4. Work as part of a team and provide 24x7 support when required 5. Flexible in week offs, it will vary shift rotation Sun-Mon, Fri-Sat, Wed-Thursday Additional Information:- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA). - This position is based in Gurugram. - A 15 years full time education is required.
