Project Role : Database Administrator
Project Role Description : Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for administering, developing, testing, and demonstrating databases. Your typical day will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, performing backup/recovery, and configuration management using Oracle Database Administration skills. Roles & Responsibilities: - Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases using Oracle Database Administration skills. - Design, implement, and maintain new databases. - Perform backup/recovery and configuration management. - Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Oracle Database Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with other database management systems. - Strong understanding of database architecture and design. - Experience with backup/recovery and configuration management. - Experience with database installation and maintenance. - Solid grasp of SQL and PL/SQL programming languages. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. Summary: As an Oracle Database Administrator, you will be responsible for providing ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Oracle databases and providing hardware/software support across all server and network areas. Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products related to Oracle databases. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle databases, including L1 and L2/basic and intermediate level troubleshooting. - Implement technology at the operating system-level across all server and network areas. - Provide hardware/software support for particular software solutions/vendors/brands. Professional & Technical Skills: - Good Knowledge on Latest oracle DB version 19c. - Good Knowledge as Oracle database engineer/DBA - Very thorough and clear understanding of Oracle Exadata Architecture - Extensive knowledge and solid troubleshooting experience in the following areas RAC, ASM, Exadata features - Hands-on with Oracle Database migration/upgrade using different methodologies Data Pump & RMAN Transportable Tablespaces - Monitor resource utilization and Oracle Compute Unit (OCPU) enablement Good exposure and hands-on with Oracle ExaCC (Exadata Cloud @ Customer) architecture, managing and creating resources using cloud dashboard Create/manage Oracle SR and support team in issue resolution. - Good knowledge on Golden gate and Shradding, multi-tenant database management - Performance tuning, Multitenant, OEM, Patching, Security, OKV, Data Guard (Physical and Logical) - Including Active Dataguard and DG broker, RMAN. - Experience with migration of Oracle Databases from On-premise to Oracle Exadata Cloud - Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM). - Experience in fix various installation and patching issues. - Experience in Database user access management. - Experience in defining security standards and supporting security audits. - Experience with Perl, Unix Shell Scripting for custom monitoring and automation Additional Information: - The candidate should have be willing to work for 24*7 support and weekend support.
