Project Role : Database Administrator
Project Role Description : Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Role Description: Developing conceptual, logical, and physical Data models to represent business requirements and ensure a comprehensive understanding of data structures. Updating and optimizing local and metadata models with optimization of data query performance. Develop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models. Strong understanding on Normalized and De-normalized concepts. Proven experience in handling different types of dimension types based on the behavior of the data at the source level. Strong experience to create the optimized Dimensional Model with data available at required levels & grain Create and maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and documentation related to data models. Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and application developers to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models. Analyze and optimize data models for performance, ensuring efficient data retrieval and storage. Work with development teams to implement indexing, partitioning, and other strategies for optimal database performance. Define and enforce data modeling standards and best practices to ensure consistency across the organization. Collaborate with Data Engineers to execute defined models. Strong experience in data research and querying large/complex datasets like Data Profiling to understand the characteristics of the Data like length, cardinality, nullable, and others. Must have skills: ERWin (preferred) or PowerDesigner or ERStudio Cloud Solution and designing Knowledge. Columnar database designing (like BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake etc.) Source system like (Flat File, SQL OLTP and OLAP database, Parque etc.) Creating High-level and low-level design documentation. Good Communication Nice to Have Skills: Data Mesh, Data Vault, Data Lake Modeling Data Cataloging, Data Governance, Data Profiling, Data Quality, Data Management, Data Migration Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, information technology, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
