Job Description
Project Role Description : Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.
Must have skills : Oracle Exadata Database Machine
Good to have skills : noSQL Couchbase, IBM Netezza, Sybase Database Administration (DBA)

Summary: As an Oracle Exadata Database Machine Administrator, you will be responsible for administering, developing, testing, or demonstrating databases. Your typical day will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery, and configuration management. You will also install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. Roles & Responsibilities: - Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases across one or more teams or clients. - Design, implement, and maintain new databases, backup/recovery, and configuration management. - Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. - Perform database functions such as database tuning, performance monitoring, and database security. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database availability, reliability, and scalability. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Experience in Oracle Exadata Database Machine administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience in MySQL Database Administration ; noSQL Couchbase ; MongoDB Administration ; IBM Netezza ; Sybase Database Administration (DBA) ; Eloquence ( HP UX); Oracle DBA - Strong understanding of database architecture, design, and implementation. - Experience in database tuning, performance monitoring, and database security. - Experience in backup/recovery and configuration management. - Solid grasp of SQL and PL/SQL programming languages. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle Exadata Database Machine administration. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
