Job Description
Project Role Description : Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. You will perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems (DBMS) and providing input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Ensure the smooth operation of databases and resolve any issues that arise. - Design and implement new databases based on business requirements. - Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity and security. - Optimize database performance and troubleshoot any performance issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement database solutions. - Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and trends. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA). - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle RAC and Data Guard. - Strong understanding of database concepts and architecture. - Experience in database performance tuning and optimization. - Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies. - Familiarity with database security best practices. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA). - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 yrs of full education is required.
