We are looking for an experienced data warehouse architect with deep expertise in Snowflake, enterprise data modelling, and modern cloud-based analytics platforms. The architect will design, build, and govern scalable data warehouse solutions that support analytics, reporting, and advanced data use cases while ensuring performance, security, and cost optimisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Design

• Design and maintain enterprise data warehouse architectures
• Define logical, physical, and semantic data models (dimensional, 3NF, Data Vault as applicable)
• Translate business requirements into scalable data models and technical designs Establish data standards, naming conventions, and modeling best practices
• Snowflake Platform Leadership
• Architect Snowflake solutions leveraging:
• Virtual Warehouses
• Clustering & micro-partitioning
• Secure data sharing
• Time Travel & Zero Copy Cloning
• Optimize performance, concurrency, and cost management
• Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and data security patterns
• Data Integration & Pipelines
• Design ingestion and transformation pipelines using tools such as:
• Snowflake SQL
• dbt
• Informatica / Matillion / Fivetran / Azure Data Factory (or similar)
• Support batch and nearreal-time data processing
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and auditability
• Governance & Quality
• Define and enforce data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks
• Partner with data governance, security, and compliance teams
• Support regulatory and enterprise data requirements
• Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with:

• Business stakeholders
• Data engineers & BI developers Product owners and enterprise architects
• Provide architectural guidance and design reviews
• Mentor junior engineers and modellers.
