Role description:

For the following domains, Master Data, Price & Promotion, Returns, Shipment, Claims, Order, Credit, Invoices, AR/AP (spanning programs in Project such as NRM/RGM, Retail Sales, Cost to Serve), the analyst needs to

1. Know source systems such as SAP, TMS, WMS, Blue Yonder, TPM systems - This includes table knowledge, column names, KPI definitions
2. Strong Communication Skills & Ability to drive things : This is not for the mute participants who are order takers. This data stewards will engage multiple stakeholders and bring them to a consensus on various topics. Should be high on initiative.

Process :

1. Engage with business stakeholder on KPI definition (Take industry standard definition, bring them to an agreement, gaps)
2. Pull data using SQL/ADF from the respective systems and profile them
3. DQ : See if the data exists for the required time period, has the required columns, are the values in expected lines. There's 7 dimensions of data quality used in Project, and it has to be tested against those.
4. If there are DQ gaps, steward has to create a remediation plan and ask the data owner to get it fixed. Follow up on remediation plan, update stakeholders on progress.
5. Use the Informatica Cataloguing tool to enter the definitions, context of the KPI, data into the tool
