Data Specialist

We are looking for a Data Modeler to serve as the bridge between our business vision and our technical execution.

As our Data Modeler, you won't just be drawing boxes and lines. You will be designing the foundational architecture that powers our decision-making, ensuring our data is integrated, secure, and ready for action.

What Youll Do

• Design the Blueprint: Own the lifecycle of conceptual, logical, and physical data models. Youll ensure our architecture evolves at the speed of our business.
• Visualize Complexity: Develop detailed ER diagrams and database designs using tools like ERWIN to make the complex understandable.
• Be the Translator: Collaborate with stakeholders to turn vague business needs into structured, high-performance data solutions.
• Empower Data Engineering: Create the "instruction manual" (mapping docs and functional specs) for our engineering teams working within Databricks.
• Guardian of Quality: Conduct data profiling and proactive remediation. You arent just building the house; youre making sure the foundation is solid.
• Champion Standards: Support Data Governance, Lineage, and Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives while advocating for modeling best practices.

What Were Looking For

• The Architects Mindset: Deep experience in data modeling methodologies (Kimball, Inmon, or Data Vaulttell us your favorite and why).
• Toolbox Mastery: You are a pro with ERWIN (or similar) and have a solid understanding of the Databricks ecosystem.
• Data Integrity Obsessive: You care about metadata, lineage, and security as much as you care about performance.
• Collaborative Spirit: You can explain a many-to-many relationship to a product manager without their eyes glazing over.
