About the Role

We are currently looking for a Data Scientist/Senior Data Scientist to maintain, enhance, and further develop our Data Science website algorithms and business insight models. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and enjoys solving complex problems through scalable and impactful data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot existing Data Science applications and algorithms deployed on company frameworks.
• Work extensively with platforms such as proprietary Python-based recommendation frameworks, image testing frameworks, Airflow, Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, Segment, and Confluence.
• Enhance, optimize, and add new features to existing Data Science algorithms.
• Design, develop, and deploy new algorithms while collaborating with DevOps and engineering teams.
• Evaluate, select, and assist in implementing new frameworks; migrate existing algorithms where required.
• Maintain and improve technical documentation for existing systems; create documentation for new frameworks and algorithms.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities where Data Science can add business value.
• Maintain existing KPI data pipelines and develop new pipelines to measure the business impact of algorithms.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science and DevOps-enabled environments.
• Strong expertise in Python (object-oriented programming, Pandas) and SQL.
• Experience working with large datasets and end-to-end data pipelines.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with Airflow, Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, Segment, and Confluence.
• Background in retail or e-commerce analytics.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, GitHub, or similar version control and project management platforms.
