Data Scientist

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to design, build, and deploy data-driven solutions that deliver measurable business impact. The role involves working with large datasets, building predictive models, collaborating with engineering and business teams, and deploying models into production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights
• Build, validate, and deploy machine learning and statistical models
• Design and implement end-to-end data science pipelines
• Perform data cleaning, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis (EDA)
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to define use cases
• Monitor model performance and retrain models as needed
• Communicate findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
• Ensure data quality, governance, and best practices

Required Skills

Data Science & Machine Learning

• Strong experience in Python and data science libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn)
• Hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms (regression, classification, clustering, time series)
• Experience with model evaluation, validation, and optimization
• Knowledge of statistics and probability

Advanced Analytics

• Experience with EDA, feature engineering, and data preprocessing
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience with data visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

Production & MLOps

• Experience deploying models into production environments
• Familiarity with MLOps practices (MLflow, Docker, CI/CD)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

Nice to Have

• Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Exposure to NLP, Computer Vision, or Generative AI use cases
• Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop)
• Domain experience in finance, e-commerce, healthcare, or SaaS

• 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
• Experience translating business problems into data science solutions
