Mandatory education:

Masters in Computer science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics

Submitted a few scientific papers

Mandatory skills:

• Strong programming ability in both scripting and object-oriented programming languages is required (C/C++, C#, python, R)

Working knowledge of deep learning frameworks and libraries like pytorch, caffe, tensor flow and high-level APIs like Keras is preferable but not required

Prior exposure to machine learning and related fields is preferable but not required

Motivated, self-driven and with a strong ability to learn independently

Familiar with DICOM & Medical Raw image formats and it's applications

Familiar with Data science tools

• Strong knowledge of regulatory needs related to medical devices, AI products in healthcare

Good to have:

PhD in Computer science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics

The role of the data scientist is to be a bridge between the research teams developing Medical Imaging related AI algorithms, the engineering teams productizing it, the Regulatory team filing for country regulatory clearances and the clinical customers.

Clear understanding of the fundamentals of medical imaging, radiology in particular is essential to perform the role.

Understanding of the regulatory clearances and its needs for supporting evidence for AI algorithms is necessary as the person facilitates these inputs working closely with the research team and regulatory teams.

High level Understanding of the AI and its applications in clinical context is essential to bring the information related to performance and reliability metrics.

Work closely with the clinical evaluation report writers to provide insights into the AI application.

Experience: PhD + 4-6 years experience or Masters + 8+ years of experience
