Job Scope: We are seeking a dynamic Data Engineering Professional to lead our data practice and deliver cutting-edge solutions for clients in the financial services sector. This strategic role blends deep technical expertise with consultative leadership to architect scalable, secure, and compliant data platforms that power analytics, AI/ML, and digital transformation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Client Engagement & Solutioning

• Partner with financial institutions to understand business goals and data needs
• Define solution architectures and roadmaps aligned with regulatory standards
• Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives and technology leaders

Delivery Leadership

• Lead the design and deployment of enterprise-grade data platforms and pipelines
• Ensure delivery excellence across quality, timelines, and cost
• Implement best practices in data governance, observability, and compliance

Practice & Capability Building

• Build and scale a high-performing data engineering team
• Develop reusable frameworks, accelerators, and delivery playbooks
• Infuse emerging technologies (cloud-native, data mesh, GenAI) into offerings

Team & People Leadership

• Recruit, mentor, and grow top talent in data engineering
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer-centricity
• Build succession plans and develop future leaders

Skills & Experience Required:

• 15+ years in data/software engineering, with 5+ years in leadership roles
• Proven experience in financial services, payments, or banking domains
• Expertise in cloud and big data ecosystems (AWS/GCP/Azure, Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, etc.)
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Deep understanding of compliance frameworks (PCI, GDPR, RBI, etc.)
