Data Plane Development Engineer

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with opportunities for remote work. As a Data Plane Development Engineer, you will contribute to the research, development, and testing of data plane features for leading network operating systems. You will design and develop software solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of high-performance and reliable products. Troubleshooting issues and supporting product integration will also form a key part of your daily responsibilities.

• Strong skills in Research and Development (R&D) with a focus on innovation in networking solutions
• Proficiency in Software Development, including design, architecture, and feature implementation
• Proven expertise in Programming, particularly in C, C++, or Python
• Experience in Testing, including unit tests and system validation methodologies
• Background in Electronics and hardware systems is a plus
• Solid problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field
• Familiarity with networking protocols and technologies is highly desired
