Main Purpose:

• Responsible for managing and optimizing data pipelines and workflows using DataOps principles.
• Ensure seamless data integration and engineering across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sources.
• Implement data quality, validation, and monitoring processes to maintain data integrity.
• Develop and maintain automation and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
• Manage databases and storage solutions to support scalable data infrastructure.
• Operate within cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments to ensure data platform resilience.
• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance across all data operations.
• Enhance performance and reliability of data systems through optimization and tuning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enable effective data-driven decision-making.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills in a mission-critical operational environment.

Job Accountabilities:

• Design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines for batch and streaming data.
• Integrate data from multiple sources using ETL/ELT frameworks and APIs.
• Implement and monitor data quality checks, validation rules, and reconciliation processes.
• Develop pipelines and automate data workflows using scripting languages.
• Manage SQL and NoSQL databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Support data infrastructure in cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
• Ensure compliance with data security, access control, and regulatory requirements.
• Optimize data pipelines for performance, cost, and reliability.
• Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, analysts, and business teams.
• Document data flows, pipelines, and operational runbooks effectively.

Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of DataOps principles and pipeline management.
• Proficiency in data integration and engineering with ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Expertise in data quality, validation, and monitoring techniques.
• Experience in automation and CI/CD for data workflows.
• Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases, and storage solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud, on-premise, and hybrid data environments.
• Understanding of data security, governance, and compliance.
• Skills in performance and reliability engineering for data systems.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data operations and pipeline management.
• Hands-on experience with data integration, quality, and automation processes.
• Proven track record in managing databases and scalable data infrastructure.
• Experience in working with cloud, on-premise, or hybrid data platforms.

Preferred Educational Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
