Job Description
Locations: Chennai
Experience: 10-12 Years
Role: Data Modeler
Must-Have:
- Experience in Data analysis
- Strong SQL expertise
- Ability to generate both canned and ad hoc reports
- Knowledge of data structures that support advanced data analytics
- Insurance domain knowledge (Vehicle Insurance)
Responsibility:
- Minimum 3 years of data modeling experience (e.g., dimensional modeling, data vault modeling).
- Total experience: 10+ years.
- Strong understanding of data structures that support advanced analytics, standard reports, and adhoc reporting.
- Handson experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin or similar for creating visual ER models.
- Domain expertise in vehicle insurance.
- Develop and enhance logical data models aligned with conceptual models and business requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design effective physical data models.
- Partner with reporting teams to build a semantic layer that supports both standard and adhoc reporting needs.
Good to Have:
Hands on experience in Agile project experience
