MetLife established a Global capability center (MGCC) in India to scale and mature Data & Analytics, technology capabilities in a cost-effective manner and make MetLife future ready. The center is integral to Global Technology and Operations with a with a focus to protect & build MetLife IP, promote reusability and drive experimentation and innovation. The Data & Analytics team in India mirrors the Global D&A team with an objective to drive business value through trusted data, scaled capabilities, and actionable insights

Role value proposition :

The data modeler has an important role in the data and analytics (D&A) organization. The role ensures, data is structured, organized and is represented effectively aligned to the needs of the organization. The role helps design logical & physical models which include implementation of robust data models that accurately capture, store, and manage data end to end.

Job responsibilities :

•         Experience in data modeling tool – CA Erwin
•          Experience in SQL Scripting
•         Ability to communicate effectively
•         Understand and analyze Business requirements accurately and provide optimum solution to meet functional and performance requirement 

Education : Bachelor’s degree (Any Stream) or diploma with a minimum of 15 years of education

Experience : Total experience of 4-6 years

Technical skills :      

• Hands on experience in CA Erwin
•        Experience in SQL Scripting
•        Good written and oral communication skills
•          Ability to communicate effectively
•        Self-disciplined and results oriented
•         Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with various levels of management, including translating complex ideas and data into actionable steps for business units
