Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler to design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support business, analytics, and application needs. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, data architects, engineers, and application teams to ensure data consistency, scalability, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Translate business requirements into well-structured data models.
• Define entities, attributes, relationships, keys, constraints, and standards.
• Develop dimensional models (star/snowflake) for reporting and analytics.
• Ensure data models align with enterprise data architecture and governance standards.
• Collaborate with data architects, DBAs, and data engineers on implementation.
• Review and optimize existing data models for performance and scalability.
• Maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and model documentation.
• Support impact analysis for data changes and enhancements.
• Participate in design reviews and ensure adherence to modeling best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data modeling.
• Strong expertise in:
• Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modeling
• Relational and Dimensional Modeling
• Experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
• Experience working with data warehouses and data lakes.
• Understanding data normalization and denormalization techniques.
• Experience in capturing and documenting business requirements.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
• Align it with data governance or cloud-first programs
