Data Modeler – ERwin

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler with strong expertise in ERwin to design and maintain enterprise data models supporting analytics, reporting, and data warehouse environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, and BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI, along with strong knowledge of data modeling concepts and database design.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop logical, physical, and dimensional data models using ERwin Data Modeler.

Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable data models.

Develop data models supporting Snowflake-based data warehouse and analytics platforms.

Perform data analysis and data mapping between source systems and target databases.

Collaborate with ETL and BI teams to support analytics and reporting requirements.

Create and maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and data documentation.

Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance optimization in database environments.

Support the development of analytics dashboards and reports using Tableau or Power BI.

Follow data governance standards and modeling best practices across projects.

Mandatory Skills

5+ years of experience in data modeling.

Strong hands-on experience with ERwin Data Modeler.

Strong experience with Snowflake data warehouse.

Advanced SQL skills for data analysis and database management.

Hands-on experience with Tableau or Power BI for analytics and reporting.

Strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts, dimensional modeling, and data architecture.

Experience working with large datasets and enterprise analytics environments.

Preferred Skills

Experience working in Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments.

Knowledge of ETL tools or data integration platforms.

Experience working in Agile development environments.

Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
