As a Data Quality Senior associate within the Firmwide Data Quality team, you will manage a portfolio of data quality items throughout the DQ Item Management lifecycle, from Intake to Closure. Collaborate with the LOB / CF CDO organizations to establish procedures, tooling requirement, produce data quality metrics to senior forums and partner with Product team to build new metrics.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage portfolio(s) of data quality items related to all LOB/CF functions, Products, and/or Functional Areas
- Ensure data quality items are progressing throughout the DQ Item Management lifecycle in a timely manner (Intake, Prioritize, Analyze, Commit, Resolve, and Closure)
- Develop strong partnerships with Technology, the Controls Organization, Product/Data Owners, Executives/Business Leads, Compliance, Legal, and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify tactical and strategic resolution paths including ownership and timeframes for completion
- Host Data Quality Working Groups and present data quality item summaries to stakeholders for awareness and approvals
- Produce monthly reporting to Controls organization and stakeholders to ensure they are aware of the data quality items and next steps needed for resolution
- Actively support the broader Data Governance team’s strategic initiatives and goals
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Formal training or certification on Data Management concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Experience with Data Management concepts in Data Analytics, Data Governance, Risk, Controls, or Compliance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to present research findings and resolution paths in Executive-level forums
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills including the ability to resolve conflict, create consensus, and to make effective decisions as a team
- Ability to independently set priorities and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously with the focus of delivering a high-quality product to the business, our customer
- Ability to build strong partnerships, desire to learn quickly, and to effectively meet or exceed deadlines
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in data quality within a large financial institution
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Management, or related field
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards related to data quality and data governance
