Data IO Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Downloading material from the clients servers.
• Processing scans.
• Validating/QC-ing processed scans and other material.
• Informing show production teams/Editors that material is available for ingest.
• Validating material which is scheduled for upload.
• Uploading material to clients servers.
• Publishing material into the FOLKS pipeline.

Skills and Abilities :

The following skills and abilities would be desirable:

• Knowledge of Linux is must.
• Basic knowledge of file formats.
• Basic knowledge of film cameras, recording formats, aspect ratio.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with high volumes of data.
• Impeccable accuracy and attention to detail.
