Data Integration Engineer iPaaS

As Senior Data Engineer, you will assist in designing, developing and maintaining integration solutions that connect various business application and systems. With other words, you will ensure maximum effectiveness and quality of implementing IT integration solutions for NXP. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions that leverage iPaaS and SnapLogic to streamline data workflows and enhance business processes. You will translate functional requirements into technical solutions and ensures that the solutions are in compliance with the process, architecture, design and security guidelines of NXP.

Your responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions that facilitate seamless data exchange between our systems and those of our partners and clients.

• Develop and implement data integration solutions using SnapLogic and other iPaaS tools to ensure seamless data flow across systems.

• Manage and optimize integration processes, including data mapping, transformation, and orchestration.

• Transform and load data from various sources into our data warehouse, ensuring data consistency and reliability.

• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand integration requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

• Monitor integration processes, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure smooth data flow.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes, data mappings, and system configurations.

• Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to data exchange and security.

Your profile

To be successful in this role you have:

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field

• 5-8 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on iPaas and Snaplogic.

• Proficiency in SnapLogic, data mapping tools, and integration platforms. Experience with SQL, Python, and data transformation tools..

• Knowledge of API integration and web services.

• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English.

• Ability to work with a geographically dispersed, multi-cultural team.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.

• Ability to collaborate and partner with business and IT in defining, preparing and executing changes.

• Experience with cloud-based data integration platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

• Knowledge of API integration and web services.

• Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices.

Furthermore, you have:

• Experience with Java, JavaScript or other scripting  languages

• Understanding of Integration patterns, SOA, and microservices architecture.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a multi-disciplined environment.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies, like TIBCO or similar

• Been exposed to CI/CD tools like Git

• Experience with relational databases

• Experience with web technologies: HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, XPath

• Experience with modelling languages such as UML

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
