Data Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Executive to manage, analyze, and report business data to support decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Advanced Excel, Power Query, VBA, Power BI, and SQL, with the ability to transform raw data into meaningful insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, validate, and manage large datasets from multiple sources
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Perform data analysis using Advanced Excel functions and formulas
• Automate repetitive reporting tasks using VBA macros
• Use Power Query for data transformation and ETL processes
• Write optimized SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities

Key Skills & Technical Requirements:

Advanced Excel

• Advanced formulas
• Pivot Tables & Charts
• Data Validation & Conditional Formatting
• Handling large datasets
• Power Pivot (preferred)

Power Query

• Data cleaning and transformation
• Merging, appending, and shaping datasets
• Connecting to multiple data sources

VBA

• Creating and editing macros
• Automating repetitive reports
• Debugging and basic scripting

Power BI

• Data modeling and relationships
• DAX calculations (CALCULATE, FILTER, SUMX, etc.)
• Dashboard creation and publishing

SQL

• Writing complex SELECT queries
• Joins (INNER, LEFT, RIGHT)
• GROUP BY, HAVING, Subqueries
• Data extraction and manipulation

Added Knowledge / Preferred Knowledge:

• Familiarity with Digital Channels Search, Social, Display, Programmatic
• Experience handling and validating Media Planning Templates
• Understanding of campaign taxonomy, naming conventions, and media workflows

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience: 1+ years of experience in database administration, management, or a related role.
