Our Team:

Opella Supply Chain is building a dedicated Advanced Analytics organization to define a best-in-class Supply Chain Data Model (from performance monitoring to predictive Supply Chain), implement, and ensure proper adoption by the SC community to deliver the best services to Opella’s customers.

Being a key member of the SC Advanced Analytics team, the Data Engineering Specialist strives to leverage the power of data within and beyond the Supply Chain community to ease decision making process and improve service to Opella’s customers

Main responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and ETL & ELT processes using Informatica Cloud, Snowflake, and Python
• Develop and optimize data models and schemas to support analytical and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
• Manage data integration and migration projects across various cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and ensure high data quality and availability.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and cloud technologies.

About you

• Graduate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science or a technical discipline
• 6+ years’ experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data infrastructure and pipelines
• Proven experience with Snowflake database design and optimization
• Proficiency in Python & SQL for data manipulation, automation, and ETL/ELT processes
• Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience in documentation, version control, testing, and continuous integration using tools like Git

Optional Qualifications

• Familiarity with Apache Airflow for workflow automation and scheduling.
• Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.
• Experience with SAP tables & Kinaxis worksheets
• Experience in supply chain domain
• Experience with dbt for data transformation and modelling.
