We are looking for a seasoned data engineer to-

play a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance and driving technology solutions in compliance function.

collaborate with compliance officers to identify market leading technology solutions on pain points.

elicit business requirements from stakeholders and translate into technical specifications.

develop business use cases and feasibility proposals for compliance technology initiatives.

troubleshoot data quality issues with long term issue resolutions.

possess knowledge on capital market, various asset classes and compliance needs.

manage end-to-end analysis and drive technical implementation by coordinating with cross functional stakeholders across geographies.

demonstrate superior problem-solving skills

foster strong relationships with compliance officers, IT, and business stakeholders.



This will be an AD level role based in Pune, India with our growing development presence in the UBS India office.

Your team

You will be a key member of a young and expanding team that is part of the Compliance Technology function. We are a small friendly bunch who take pride in the quality of work that we do. As a team, we provide technology needs for compliance solutions on top of a cloud platform, working closely with peers from the and other engineering teams.

Your expertise

bachelor or Master’s degree- Computer Science, management or related field.

min. 5-8 years of experience as a business/data analyst in capital markets, compliance, risk or financial services.

proficient in data analysis and visualization tools.

nice to have : Experience with compliance technology systems (e.g. ACTIMIZE, SMARTS, Trading Hub).

experience in working in a MS Azure (added advantage)

have Agile practices part of your DNA

demonstrate strong communication skills, both to senior management and teams

strong analytical and problem solving skills

collaborative approach towards problem solving, working closely with other colleagues in the global team and sensitive towards diversity

Certification (CFA/FRM/CBAP/CSM/CPO) desirable.
