Job Overview

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have**

1. In depth Knowledge on AWS

2. Knowledge of ETL process to facilitate smooth transfers and storage of data

3. Scripting skills using Python and Pyspark

Good-to-Have

1. Exposure to job scheduling/monitoring environments(Eg. Control-M)

2. Any Big data tools Hadoop, Spark.

3 . Cloud migration experience

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 Implementing ETL pipelines within and outside of a data warehouse using Pyspark and Snowflakes Snow SQL.DBT

2 Work with the end user to get data requirements, performing complex data mapping and developing/maintaining ETL programs to support enterprise data warehouse

3 Develop SQL scripts to load data from source systems and verify the data in target tables load correctly by ELT process

4 Development of scripts using Unix, Pyspark, etc. for loading, extracting, and transforming data.

5 Assist with production issues in Data Warehouses like reloading data, transformations, and translations

6 Develop a Database Design and Reporting Design based on Business Intelligence and Reporting requirements
