Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our growing data team. If you have strong hands-on expertise in Azure data services and Databricks , this is a great opportunity to work on scalable, modern data platforms.
Experience: 5+ Years (Relevant Azure experience required)
Notice Period: Immediate joiners preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks
- Integrate data from structured, semi-structured, and unstructured sources
- Optimize Spark jobs for performance and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with data analysts, business users, and engineering teams
- Automate data ingestion, transformation, and deployment
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks & Apache Spark
- Expertise in Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with Delta Lake
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, data modeling, performance tuning
- Excellent communication and Agile working experience
Preferred Skills
- CI/CD pipelines for Databricks
- Exposure to MLflow and ML workflows
- Knowledge of Azure Purview or data governance tools
