Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Oracle technologies to design, develop, and optimize high-performance data solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in OLTP systems, ETL processes, performance tuning, and large-scale data handling, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage Oracle database architectures, including Exadata environments.
• Build and maintain robust ETL and CDC pipelines to support enterprise data workflows.
• Develop and automate data pipelines using Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Design and optimize OLTP databases handling large data volumes with effective partitioning strategies.
• Design, develop, and optimize Data Marts for large-scale analytics and reporting.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries using analytical and window functions.
• Develop and maintain advanced PL/SQL components including procedures, functions, and packages.
• Perform Oracle query performance tuning through execution plan analysis and optimization.
• Manage large-scale data migrations using Oracle utilities such as SQL*Loader and Data Pump.
• Ensure data governance, data security, and data masking standards are implemented effectively.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex data, performance, and system-level issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Oracle Database Architecture and Exadata.
• Extensive experience with ETL and CDC tools and frameworks.
• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL development skills.
• Strong understanding of OLTP systems and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning and database optimization.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra or MongoDB.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
