Senior Data Engineer (Onsite | Immediate joiners Required | F2F interview mandatory)

This is anon-sitecontractor role. You can be based offshore, but we ask for at least3 hours of overlap with the Pacific Time Zone (PST), ideally available until at least 11 AM PST.

What Youll Do

Build modular and scalabledatapipelines that integratedatafrom multiple sources.

Analyze rawdataand organize it based on business requirements.

Collaborate withdatascientists,engineers, and application teams to design effective solutions.

Ensure that systems are reliable, reusable, and aligned with best practices.

Identify and addressdatagaps, quality issues, or discrepancies proactively.

Contribute to architectural discussions with a strong understanding of cloud-native patterns.

What Were Looking For

Strong foundation incloud-native application architecture.

Hands-on experience withboth relational and non-relational databases, including understanding their trade-offs and design considerations.

Familiarity withAPI design and implementation.

Comfortable working independently and communicating clearly in a remote environment.

A solid grasp ofsoftwareengineeringprinciples, clean code practices, and system design.

Technical Skills

Python andDataEngineering

Proficient inPython, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming,datastructures, and algorithms.

Experience withApache SparkandPySpark, especially usingAzure Databricksfor large-scaledataprocessing.

Azure Cloud Platform

Practical experience withAzure services,including Function Apps, Blob Storage, DevOps, Networking, and Access Control.

Familiarity with Azuredataservices, such as:

Azure SQL Database

Azure Synapse Analytics

Azure Cosmos DB

Azure Database for PostgreSQL

AzureDataLake Storage

AzureDataFactory (ADF) for orchestration anddataintegration

Database and SQL

Strong SQL skills, including querying, transforming, and managingdatain relational databases.

Workflow and Orchestration

Familiarity with scheduling and orchestratingdatapipelines using workflow tools.
