Role Overview:

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented engineer with strong experience in Python, data processing, and Apache Airflow to design, build, and maintain reliable data and automation workflows. This is a hands-on technical role focused on developing and operating production systems that support data movement, transformation, and automation across the organization.
• The ideal candidate is comfortable working with data at scale, writing clean and maintainable code, and taking ownership of systems that are critical to day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and automation workflows using Apache Airflow
• Write production-quality Python code for data processing, orchestration, and system integrations
• Work with Pandas, NumPy, and related libraries for data transformation and analysis
• Integrate data from multiple sources, including APIs, files, and databases
• Monitor workflows, troubleshoot failures, and implement improvements to enhance reliability and performance
• Optimize existing pipelines for clarity, efficiency, and maintainability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Follow best practices for version control, testing, documentation, and deployment
• Use modern development tools such as VS Code, Cursor, Git, and Docker

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Python for production systems
• Hands-on experience with Pandas, NumPy, or similar data processing libraries
• Practical experience building and operating workflows in Apache Airflow
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix environments and command-line tools
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience working with version control systems (Git)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience supporting production systems and operational workflows
• Exposure to modern data stack tools such as dbt, Kafka, or data warehouses
• Experience working with large-scale or high-volume data environments
