Role Description:

These are full-time roles for a Informatica ETL Developers, to be based in India with short term travel assignments to onsite locations in UAE/Saudi Arabia/Oman/Qatar for some of our esteemed overseas clients.

The person would :

Design, develop, and optimize data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Informatica DEI and Cloudera CDP (Hive, Impala, Spark, HDFS).

Implement scalable ETL/ELT workflows aligned with Unified Data Model and Enterprise Semantic Layer requirements.

Ensure high-quality, reliable, and performant data flows, including validation, data quality checks, and error handling across all stages.

Collaborate with Data Modelers and BI teams to map source systems to target models, ensuring accurate, governed, and consistent datasets for analytics and reporting.

Maintain and enhance the big data platform, including performance tuning, pipeline monitoring, job orchestration, and adherence to security, metadata, and governance standards

Experience Required:

2-7 years of hands-on experience in Informatica BDM/DEI and Cloudera CDP is a MUST.

Domain: Retail Banking domain experience is preferred.

Key Skills

Informatica BDM/DEI (Big Data Management / Data Engineering Integration)

ETL pipeline design and development

Cloudera CDP (Hive, Impala, Spark, HDFS).SQL (advanced scripting and optimization)

Data warehousing principles and dimensional modeling

Performance tuning and error handling

Requirements gathering, Architecture, HLD/LLD, and ETL Testing experience

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable ETL workflows using Informatica BDM/DEI.

Integrate data from structured and unstructured sources including big data platforms.

Apply strong data warehousing concepts to ensure efficient data modeling and transformation.

Collaborate with data architects and analysts to define mapping specifications and business rules.

Optimize ETL jobs for performance, reliability, and scalability.

Implement robust error handling, logging, and monitoring mechanisms.

Participate in data validation, quality checks, and transformation logic.

Document ETL processes and support deployment activities.

Stay updated with evolving data engineering tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

Generic:

Immediate joiners needed. (Within max 30 days)

Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and experience in interaction with overseas clients is preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer Science or a related field preferred)

Soft Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused with a collaborative attitude.

Salary Range:

INR 5-22 Lakhs CTC
