Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for efficient data extraction, transformation, and analysis Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
• Implement and manage version-controlled workflows using Git.
• Build and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics.
• Create impactful dashboards and visualizations using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related performance or quality issues.
• Support and enhance analytical and reporting workflows.

Technical Skills Required:

• Python for scripting, automation, and data processing.
• SQL for querying, transformation, and relational database management.
• Strong understanding of ETL tools, processes, and frameworks.
• Experience with Azure cloud services, such as:

Azure Data Factory

Azure Synapse Analytics

Azure Data Lake

• Proficiency in Git for version control and collaboration
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Knowledge of data modeling concepts.
• Understanding of data warehousing and analytics workflows.
• Familiarity with performance tuning and query optimization

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer / Data Analyst / BI Engineer.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work with large datasets and complex data structures.
• Experience working in cloud-based data environments (Azure preferred).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams
