What Youll Do

Design and build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Scala & Apache Spark (Batch & Streaming)

Optimize Spark jobs and complex SQL queries for performance and efficiency

Implement Lakehouse architectures using Iceberg / Hudi / Delta Lake

Apply Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) for structured analytics

Deploy workloads on GCP (DataProc, BigQuery, GCS)

Work with Kubernetes (K8s) & Docker for containerized processing

Implement data quality frameworks (Deequ / Great Expectations)

Contribute to infrastructure automation & CI/CD pipelines

Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams with architects & product stakeholders

Explore GenAI-driven workflows for data automation

What Were Looking For

15 years of hands-on Data Engineering experience

Strong expertise in Scala & Apache Spark

Solid SQL and distributed computing fundamentals

Experience with GCP / AWS / Azure

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes & Docker

Experience with modern Lakehouse formats

Strong problem-solving and independent ownership mindset

Nice to Have

Exposure to ML pipelines / Feature Engineering

Airflow / Azkaban

Real-time databases (Druid, ClickHouse, HBase)

CI/CD for data systems
