Role Data Engineer

Job Description :

4+ years of experience in data engineering, building enterprise-scale data systems. v Experience working with cloud data platforms (AWS S3/Glue/Redshift, GCP BigQuery, Azure Data Lake, Snowflake, Databricks). v Hands-on experience with batch and/or streaming data processing frameworks.

v History of supporting analytics, ML, and BI teams through reliable data provisioning.

Technical Skills:

v Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and optionally Scala or Java. v Expertise in ETL/ELT development using tools such as Airflow, dbt, Glue, Dataflow, or similar workflow orchestrators. v Experience with distributed data processing frameworks (Spark, Flink, Hadoop). v Proficiency working with data lakes, warehouses, and columnar storage formats (Parquet, ORC, Avro). v Strong understanding of data modeling, normalization/denormalization, and schema design. v Familiarity with CI/CD practices for data pipelines. v Experience with API integrations, real-time pipelines (Kafka, Pub/Sub), and message queues. v Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, lineage, and metadata management.

General Skills :

v Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. v Ability to work collaboratively with Data Science, Engineering, and Product teams. v Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex data concepts clearly. v Detail-oriented with a focus on maintainability, reliability, and scalability.
