Data Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Data Profile Engineer (L2) with strong expertise in data troubleshooting, API debugging, and automation. The role focuses on diagnosing and resolving issues across data ingestion pipelines, cloud platforms, and frontendbackend integrations. Exposure to React and frontend debugging is a strong plus. The ideal candidate demonstrates ownership, strong root cause analysis (RCA) skills, and the ability to communicate technical findings clearly to customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve data ingestion, transformation, and data quality issues in pipelines and datasets.
• Debug and enhance Python scripts; write basic automation scripts to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Analyze SQL queries and validate timeseries and tabular datasets for correctness and performance.
• Troubleshoot REST APIs, authentication tokens, and integration failures between systems.
• Read and analyze application and system logs to identify failure points and patterns.
• Understand and support data fusion / data integration models across multiple sources.
• Investigate CI/CD pipeline and deploymentrelated issues impacting data flows.
• Troubleshoot frontendbackend integration issues, including React UI problems and data rendering issues.
• Perform structured root cause analysis (RCA) and document findings with clear, actionable insights.
• Communicate issue impact, resolution, and next steps effectively to customers and internal teams.
• Drive issues to closure with a strong sense of ownership and proactive followup.

Data, Backend & Cloud

• Python scripting and debugging

• REST API fundamentals and tokenbased authentication
• Log analysis and failure diagnosis
• Cloud fundamentals (Azure preferred)
• CI/CD pipeline experience
• Kubernetes (K8s) fundamentals

Frontend (Good to Have)

• React UI troubleshooting
• JavaScript debugging
• Browser console and network log analysis
• Understanding of CORS, network failures, and frontend backend integration
