Hiring: Data Engineer GenAI / ML | AWS

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in GenAI / MLfocused data engineering and the AWS cloud ecosystem . You will design and build scalable data pipelines that power AI, ML, and analytics workloads, working closely with data scientists and ML engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data (including text & video)
• Build and manage data ingestion, transformation, and delivery pipelines for GenAI and analytics use cases
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and analytics teams to align pipelines with model and reporting needs
• Implement data modeling, cataloging, lineage tracking , and query performance tuning
• Ensure data security, governance, compliance, and reliability
• Develop cloud-native solutions using AWS Glue, Athena, EMR, Data Pipeline, Data Sync
• Improve efficiency through automation, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability

Must-Have Skills

• Strong programming experience in Python (preferred) or Java / JavaScript / Scala
• Database expertise:
• NoSQL: MongoDB
• Relational: MySQL / PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with AWS data services :
• Glue, Athena, EMR, Data Pipeline, Data Sync, S3, RDS, DynamoDB
• Proven experience building ETL/ELT pipelines for AI/ML & analytics
• Strong SQL skills with query optimization and performance tuning

Good-to-Have Skills

• CI/CD automation for data pipelines
• Streaming technologies: Kafka, Spark Streaming, Flink, AWS Kinesis
• Docker & Kubernetes
• Data catalogs, metadata, and lineage tools
• Node.js, AWS Lambda, Step Functions (serverless workflows)
