Data Engineer - AWS

We are looking for - AWS Data Engineer

Experience: 4- 8 Years

Location: Kolkata/Bangalore

1. 7 years of experience in Data Analytics, specifically in Datawarehouse, Data Lake, and ETL.
2. Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
3. Experience in implementing and working on AWS services such as EC2, RDS, Lambda, and S3.
4. Proficiency in code deployment using Github/Bitbucket and CI/CD pipelines
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
6. Extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying business software at scale.
7. Expertise in troubleshooting and performance optimization techniques.
8. Proven experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies.
9. Ability to work with business owners to define key business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
10. Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across internal and external organizations.
11. Ability to perform ad-hoc data/process analysis.
12. Proficient in team and task management using tools like JIRA, and adhering to SLAs.
13. Active participation in Agile scrum teams, contributing to project planning and work prioritization.
14. Experience in defining best practices, technical standards, design principles, and frameworks.
15. Ability to provide direction, guidance, and support to team members to help them achieve their goals.
16. Strong mentoring, coaching, and feedback skills to foster team members' growth and skills development.
17. Proactive in identifying and automating recurring tasks for improved productivity.
18. Display a high level of technical curiosity and a passion for innovation.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Customer Centric

1. Work closely with client teams to understand project requirements and translate into technical design
2. Experience working in scrum or with scrum teams

Internal Collaboration

Work with project teams and guide the end-to-end project lifecycle, resolve technical queries

Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data needs.

Ability to interact with various internal groups and CoEs
