Summary: As a Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. Your typical day will involve creating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and implementing ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across systems. You will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing data infrastructure to support business needs and enable data-driven decision-making. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Design and develop data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources. - Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and cleansing processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design efficient data solutions. - Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance and scalability. - Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and incidents. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data engineering. - Implement and maintain data security and privacy measures. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Analytics Services. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform, Data Building Tool DBT. - Strong understanding of data engineering concepts and best practices. - Experience with data modeling and database design. - Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. - Proficient in programming languages such as Python or Java. - Familiarity with data integration and ETL tools. - Knowledge of cloud platforms and services, preferably Microsoft Azure. - Experience with version control systems like Git. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Analytics Services. - This position is based at our Pune office. - Full-time education is required.
