Summary: As a Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. Your typical day will involve creating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and implementing ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across systems. You will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing data infrastructure to support business needs and drive data-driven decision-making. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Design and develop data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. - Create and maintain data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow. - Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data across systems. - Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle. - Optimize data infrastructure to support business needs. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. - Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues. - Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Ab Initio. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with GCP Dataflow, UNIX Shell Scripting. - Strong understanding of data engineering principles and best practices. - Experience in designing and developing data solutions using Ab Initio. - Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration techniques. - Familiarity with data modeling and database design concepts. - Experience with data warehousing and data management systems. - Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages for data manipulation and analysis. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Ab Initio. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
